  • We always recommend bringing some cash to exchange when traveling abroad in case of card failure or fraud. Some places in Portugal accept only cash, especially in the rural areas. So make sure to check with your bank that you can use your card abroad without any issue.

  • Getting around in Portugal for English speakers is generally quite easy, as many people in Portugal speak English well. Since these are large and often touristed areas, many things have been translated into English including transportation related information, guides and more.

  • Portugal actively work to make their cities friendly to all. That being said, many of their older buildings can’t always be guaranteed to have wheelchair access or accessible facilities.

If you have special requirements please contact us before booking the trip so we can properly advise you on the specific locations.
