Getting around in Portugal for English speakers is generally quite easy, as many people in Portugal speak English well. Since these are large and often touristed areas, many things have been translated into English including transportation related information, guides and more.
Portugal actively work to make their cities friendly to all. That being said, many of their older buildings can’t always be guaranteed to have wheelchair access or accessible facilities.
