The Trip is not responsible or liable for loss of property, theft or legal services for our
clients. We always recommend bringing a good amount of cash to exchange when traveling abroad in case of card failure or fraud. Thailand has reputable banks with ATMs that accept Visa and Mastercard. We don’t recommend walking around with large amounts of cash in the city. Many locations around the countries offer mobile payment services, such as Apple pay, tap to pay and general card transactions.
Getting around in Thailand for English speakers is generally quite easy, as many people in Thailand speak English well. It's often tricky in more traditional areas, as they use a different script. Since these are large and often touristed areas, many things have been translated into English including transportation related information, guides and more.
Thailand is hit or miss with regards to accessible access.
